Silicone Strap Care

Daily habits

• Wipe down with damp microfibre after a sweaty wear.
• Avoid contact with perfume and DEET-based mosquito repellents.
• Store flat or gently curved — never folded sharply.

Weekly clean

• Mild soap + warm water + soft brush.
• Rinse fully — soap residue attracts dust.
• Pat dry, air-dry 1 hour.

UV yellowing

Light-coloured (white, cream, mint) silicone yellows under sun. Once yellowed, it can't be reversed. Store away from windows.

FKM rubber (Tudor, Omega rubber straps) resists yellowing for years longer than basic silicone.
