Storing Leather-Strap Watches

A leather strap can outlast the watch — if you store it right.

Dos

• Keep flat or gently curved in the box, not folded.
• Use silica gel sachets to manage humidity.
• Pair with a microfibre liner to prevent surface scratches.

Don'ts

• Sunlight (UV fades colour, dries leather).
• Plastic bags (trap moisture).
• Stacking other watches on top.

For pieces you wear monthly, rotate the strap to a NATO during storage and refit the leather only for wear.
