Tissot: 170 Years of Swiss

Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son founded Tissot in Le Locle in 1853. Their early innovation: dual-time pocket watches with both local and "railway" time — essential for 19th-century Swiss travellers crossing time zones.

• 1853 Heritage line revives every era — 1853 pocket, 1948 Navigator, 1973 PR516, 1978 PRX.
• 1983 Joined the Swatch Group (then SMH).
