Pre-flight

• Wind manuals fully — vibration can desync the train.
• Set GMT to destination on the inner hand.
• Pack in a fitted travel roll, never loose in a bag.

At security

• Carry-on only. Never check.
• Pop the bracelet open before X-ray — saves you 30 seconds in scanning.
• Declare gold-cased watches if asked.

On arrival

• Let the watch acclimatise 30 min before correcting time.
• Cold-to-warm transitions can cause condensation — wait it out.
