Brand Stories
How a 1992 French startup built watches that look like aircraft clocks.

Carlos Rosillo and Bruno Belamich (the "Bell" and "Ross") founded the brand in 1992 with one design language: watches that look like aircraft instruments.
The BR 01 (2005) was the breakthrough — a 46mm square steel case with four exposed screws at the corners, exactly mimicking a cockpit altimeter. The press hated it. Aviators bought it.
B&R supplies the French Air Force, the South African Air Force, and several private pilot schools. The 2015 BR-X1 line moved into haute horlogerie with tourbillons and minute repeaters housed in the same square format.
